MAIK·CLUB Español

Terms of use

Last updated: 18 October 2026

1. Who we are

Maik Club is an educational content app developed and published by Xavier Balada, as an individual. Contact: [email protected].

By downloading and using the app you accept these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

2. What the app offers

Every day, Maik Club publishes a short piece on a topic from history, motoring, sport, drinks, style, trades, money, science, culture or philosophy.

3. Premium subscription

If you download the app from the App Store, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.

4. The content

Maik Club's content is educational. We prepare it carefully and cite our sources, but it may contain errors and it does not replace professional advice. In particular, pieces about money are not financial advice, and pieces about trades and technical subjects are not instructions for work that should be done by professionals.

If you spot a mistake, it helps us a lot if you write to [email protected].

5. Permitted use

You may read the content for your personal use and share the cards the app creates for that purpose. You may not copy, reproduce or redistribute the texts in bulk, use them for commercial purposes, or try to access premium content without an active subscription.

6. Intellectual property

The texts, design, the Maik Club brand and the other elements of the app belong to their owner or are used under licence. Third-party images are credited with their author and licence in each piece.

7. Availability and changes

We try to keep the app working at all times, but there may be interruptions for maintenance or for reasons beyond our control. We may change the content, features or these terms. If changes affect your subscription, we will give you reasonable notice.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damage arising from your use of the information published. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under consumer protection law.

9. Privacy

How we process your data is explained in the Privacy policy.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you may bring proceedings in the courts where you live.
